Proeflokaal Arendsnest is a unique landmark in the Amsterdam beer scene, perfectly situated on the picturesque Herengracht. With an impressive selection of 52 beers on tap and over 100 bottled and canned varieties, it offers a comprehensive showcase of the rich and rapidly evolving Dutch beer culture.
The interior exudes an authentic and warm atmosphere, featuring classic copper piping and traditional wooden panelling. Beyond beer, you can explore other Dutch spirits; the bar features at least 15 different types of 'jenever' (Dutch gin) as well as various local liqueurs and whiskies. To complement your tasting experience, Arendsnest serves local Dutch snacks that pair perfectly with their brews, such as artisanal cheese and traditional 'ossenworst'.
