Experience a world of light, sound and movement at AMAZE Amsterdam, an immersive audiovisual experience created by the team behind major electronic dance events. Inside a series of carefully designed rooms, visitors explore interactive environments where lasers, projections, music and special effects combine to create a journey that stimulates all the senses. Rather than simply observing an exhibition, you become part of the experience itself.

Each space inside AMAZE has its own atmosphere and rhythm, guiding you through moments of energy, reflection and surprise. Inspired by electronic music culture and storytelling through technology, the experience blends art installation with performance-like elements. Visitors move freely through the environment, discovering hidden details, unexpected transitions and visually striking scenes that are perfect for memorable photos along the way.

Amaze Amsterdam - A captivating fusion of sight and sound

Located in a former industrial warehouse in Amsterdam West, AMAZE offers something different from traditional museums or attractions. It is especially popular with travellers looking for a creative indoor activity that feels modern, immersive and uniquely connected to Amsterdam’s electronic music scene. Whether you visit with friends, as a couple or solo, the experience invites you to slow down, explore and reconnect with your senses in a completely new way.

Amaze Amsterdam: A Playground for Your Senses

Step into a world where light and sound collide to redefine your reality.

Amaze Amsterdam includes:

  • Spectacular laser & light shows — powerful lasers cutting through smoke and dynamic lighting that surrounds you completely.
  • Interactive rooms — spaces where you can create your own beats, mix music and control visuals in real-time.
  • Mind-bending LED tunnels & projections — hypnotic LED corridors, optical illusions and immersive video projections that play with your perception.
  • Multi-sensory themed rooms — a variaty of unique rooms, each with its own atmosphere: from high-energy party vibes to calm, emotional and surprising experiences.
  • Festival-style special effects — 11D spatial sound, moving installations, smoke and unexpected sensory surprises that stimulate all your senses at once.

The experience is roughly one hour long.

From Illegal Raves to Immersive Art

Amaze Amsterdam is housed in the former Warehouse Elementenstraat, a legendary location from the 1990s that served as the epicentre of Amsterdam’s illegal underground raves and early techno parties. Today, the iconic venue has been transformed by ID&T — the same creative force behind legendary festivals such as Sensation, Awakenings, Defqon.1 and DGTL — into a permanent, legal version of that raw energy. Thanks to their more than 30 years of expertise in light, sound and special effects, visitors now experience a kind of “mini-festival without the hangover” in just one intense, immersive hour.
